I am writing to say Blue Bear Air, from my initial text from Alyssa to my consult with Patrick (29 yrs in this type business) to Jakarie and Sandy, my technicians, I could not be more delighted!!! Anna Marie in front office just sent me my warranty. All in prompt and perfect order. This new Carrier (as Jakarie mentioned) is like eye candy. What a beautiful unit! The fellows arrived right as promised. They dismantled the old system and replaced with a new system. They tested the units then explained all I needed to know to properly understand. When they left, the work area was spotless. What an incredible relief to have this experience after researching for many weeks. I'm certain my guardian angel was behind finding this awesome company and staff!!! Kudos to the owners, you should be super proud of your team.❤️🌹

I knew we needed a new A/C and saw their advertisement in the papers and called. They came the same day and gave me a very good estimate, along with explaining the different options I could receive. I placed the order, but contacted Nick, who handled my quote, and asked him if they could send someone to fill the Freon on my current system so that I would have A/C until the new unit was installed. They came that evening, pouring rain, and took care of it so that I could have a cool house again. They scheduled the installation for the next weekday, came in on time, and finished on time. Truly like them and strongly recommend them. Will use them for the maintenance of all the other units too. Very, extremely happy!

WOW! Remarkable company—💯 This company is hands down the absolute BEST as far as we are concerned. We started out with Pat who came and gave us an estimate for a brand new unit for my mother's condo. Right off the bat my mother loved him and didn't want to go with anyone else. He was so kind. We had the unit installed by Daniel and George a few days later who were two of the nicest guys, arrived on time, did a beautiful job. Unfortunately, there was a little hiccup due to a manufacturing error which caused the new unit not to work properly. The owner Mike came right over that evening promising he would fix everything and for us not to worry. He brought my mother a portable air conditioner and offered to get us a hotel. We were floored by his generosity and willingness to fix this problem ASAP (which was NO error on their part). This was a manufacturer defect that you wouldn't have known about till after installing. He found another unit in Jacksonville, which is approx an 8 hour drive there and back. He did not hesitate, he left that evening right after speaking with us, which was around 8:00 p.m., and drove to Jacksonville to pick that up and have it back to us the next morning. He is by far a magnificent business owner and most certainly stands behind his word. He absolutely goes over and beyond to make his customers happy, which I can't tell you how much we appreciated. Finally, we had Josh Diamond do the second install, which there's no words for this young man beside's EXCELLENT. He did such a beautiful job—efficient, kind, respectful, cleaned up everything spotless. Such a beautiful, beautiful job. Trust me—You will NOT be disappointed with this company. Recently, one of our air conditioners decided to stop working. I did some searching on Yelp and came across Blue Bear and after reading their reviews was happy to purchase through them. I mainly worked with Daniel Silva and his partner, and they were over the top with their accommodations. They knew that my husband had been recently hospitalized and did not want to come home to a hot home after already feeling extremely uncomfortable. Daniel dropped off two portable air-conditioning units to make sure that our home would be cool for when he arrived. Just doing that, proved to us that this was an amazing company with amazing people! We decided to purchase two units, not just the one that was broken. The installers were ready for a two day install, and were speedy and efficient that they completed the job in one day. My husband and I are very pleased with Blue Bear and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Absolutely amazing company to work with. This company is an example of how to do business and provide amazing service. They pick up the phone when you call, talk to you with respect, and provide you with all the information you need to know. Brandon and Kathy in the office are always on their A-game! I had them install a new A/C unit on my home after another company was being really hard to work with and left me without air conditioning for a month. I went with a 2-stage Carrier system and the crew did great work. Chad, Clayton, Josh, and Alex worked on the system and all of them were professional, efficient, took pride in their work, and respected my home. Price was fair and reasonable. They offer cash pricing for a discount, or finance offers such as 0% for short term or 10% for longer term. I was referred to this company by my brother who had 2 new units put into his home as well by Blue Bear. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for HVAC services!

My a/c unit bit the dust on a Saturday before a tropical storm, and it's been—it was—four hard days. Saturday night, and by night I mean 11 p.m., Blue Bear Heating and Cooling came to check on the unit and try to repair it. Unfortunately, I needed a brand new system. I 100% recommend Blue Bear; I have never felt so sure that I was getting excellent service at a fair price. The owner has gone above and beyond to make it so that I had a new unit installed today (Tuesday, remember we just had a very watery TS). His team is responsible, professional, and above all TRUSTWORTHY. Any mishaps that could have been hidden from me have been disclosed to me every step of the way. I had direct contact with the owner at all times, and this new company I guarantee will have you pleased if you need any services. The owner, Brandon, his technicians Rudy, Richard, and Alex are top notch. I am very, very pleased. They have financing available if needed! Adulting is hard and purchases like this are harder, but Blue Bear made the process easy.

I can't say enough about these guys. My AC compressor went out on Friday and they were at my house early Sunday morning installing a new unit with a team that knew what they were doing. Posted on Angi's on Friday night and received a call on Saturday morning from the owner, Mike, to discuss options—he was transparent and fair with pricing. No beating around the bush and trying to get you to pay more than what the fair market price is. The team that showed up (Ruben, Sandy, Tron, and Josh) were excellent—very respectful, meticulous with their work, and clean. I will definitely recommend them to anyone in need of repairs, new installs, etc. I also believe they are based around customer service—I can rely on them if something goes wrong in the future to come out and make it right. The service appointment was made for a window of between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. I received an automated email stating the technician was on his way at 1:44 p.m. At approximately 4:03 p.m. the technician still had not arrived, so I made a call for an ETA. I was informed by the dispatch department that they were showing him as already at my residence. I informed them that he wasn't onsite. They did not have his location, and I was informed that they were going to try and locate him. Approximately 5 minutes after I ended the call, the technician showed up! I was not very happy with the tardiness of the technician as I had taken half the day off of work to be home for the window he was supposed to show up for. I could have worked and saved 4 hours of vacation time since he did not arrive until a bit after 4 p.m. As far as the technician David R., he was apologetic, polite, informative, and did a professional installation of my EV outlet and cleaned up after the installation. I am, however, not impressed with the office not reaching back out to me to inform me of the status of the technician's arrival and the fact I wasted 4 hours of vacation time. One more gripe: I was supposed to get a 10% veterans discount that was offered, but it did not apply to the balance. 2/20/26 Updated After the owner Mike had read my review, he promptly called me first thing the next morning. Mike was genuinely concerned and apologetic about my experience with Blue Bear, and we had a very sincere conversation, and he wanted to earn my 5 star review. Mike offered me a hefty discount on the service, and he made good on his promise to compensate me for time I took off of work for the install. I will definitely use Blue Bear services in the future. It was nice to see an owner who truly cares about his customers and wants to make it a 5 star experience! Thank you Mike and the Blue Bear team!

Hired Blue Bear for an electrical panel replacement. Received several bids; they weren’t the cheapest, but they were fair. They also were the only provider to recommend rotating the panel outward (it was facing inside a utility closet) to meet code. They worked with me to schedule the job around my renters' schedule. When they ran into a hiccup on the job (our master shutoff had to be replaced), Mike reached out and took ownership of the situation. Mike was patient in answering all of my calls and questions. That was sincerely appreciated. Sarasota is a tough market for home service providers. Lots of providers and lots of noise. These guys stood out for their ability to deliver on their promises at an honest price. I would highly recommend them.
